Friends of the Library Amazing Bookstore

Operated entirely by volunteers, The Amazing Bookstore is a treasure trove of gently used items including books, media, and puzzles. All proceeds benefit the Juneau Public Libraries. Their puzzle inventory depends on donations, which means sometimes you’ll find small piece-count puzzles for children, nostalgic or themed puzzles, or even higher-piece sets when luck (and generosity) align. Because hours are limited (closed Mondays & Tuesdays and open limited hours other days), timing your visit helps increase your chances of finding good puzzle stock. The used condition of puzzles means pieces must be intact and quality varies, but for many shoppers that adds to the charm and discovery.
